Follow the meandering river and enjoy the tidal current!
Together with the leaving tide we depart from the charming fishermen harbour of Alvor heading north. Paddle along the waterfront promenade up the river. The following protected wetland is the home of a diversity of impressive birds and wildlife. When the river gets smaller, birds like stilts and storks can be often seen.
We stop to visit the largest palm center in Portugal and Spain. Here at the enchantingly decorated Pizzeria you can savour a bite to eat or to drink.
Take your friends and family on this nature experience! The time of day we can do this trip depends on the high tide. We aim to start 1 or 2 hours before the high tide. Like this we have the maximum benefit of the current. Contact our office to see when the next trip is scheduled.
Nobody is too young or too old. We provide all necessary equipment and our pace is relaxed. Our experienced multilingual guides teach all required skills along the way!

UPDATE 2012: the canoeing activity in Alvor will only be available from 1st April 2012.
Prices
The price per person for the 3 hours trip is € 22.50.
Each canoe has 3 places. The middle place is only for children younger than 10 years and costs only € 5
In case an adult books a canoe with 2 children, the total cost for the canoe trip will be € 50.
