Corvo Marinho is the initiative of Rui Duque in co-operation with Outdoor-Tours.com.

The name Corvo Marinho is Portuguese for Cormorant. This specific bird appears often on top of the cliffs around Lagos. While sitting on the cliffs with its wings widely spread this black bird is drying its wings in the wind, preparing for a dive. The Cormorant is a fast hunter feared by the fish. In flash of a lightening the bird dives into the water and can stay under water for 30 or 60 seconds and dive 30 meters deep to catch his prey.

Skipper Rui Duque was born in Lagos and always has been an enthusiastic sailor. Rui speaks Portuguese, English, Dutch and German. He welcomes you aboard for an amazing journey on the water of Lagos along Ponta da Piedade.

Whereas the Boat Corvo Marinho was originally designed for hard labour, it presently has all comfort and safety measures for 11 passengers and 1 crew member. It is a robust and reliable boat. The boat is equipped with two strong engines and safety features (e.g. higher sides, life jackets, fully licensed etc.). To increase the fun element it provides fishing and snorkel gear for a pleasant dive.
