One of our most popular mountain bike holidays at the moment is the “Via Algarviana”. It is designed as a walking path, and we love to bike it !
The Via Algarviana is created by local Algarve authorities and is well maintained for both walkers ánd mountain bikers. It leads you over 300 km (187 miles) from the Spanish border to Cabo São Vicente in Sagres; the most south west tip of Europe.

Girls Weekends - Group Mountain Biking in the Algarve
With 2 riding days this 4 day weekend break, takes you along the trails of the Via Algarviana in the “wild west” of the Algarve. Temperatures in the west are a bit lower then in the East. Father - Son(s) Weekends - Mountain Biking the Via Algarviana in small groups
This boys weekend with 2 riding days, brings you the best single and double tracks in the western Algarve. On the first day you will ascend the 902 meter (2960 ft) Foia. The second day offers a great downhill run from the Foia to Cabo São Vicente, the most south west tip of Portugal/Europe. Request more info here >
Individual Riders on the Via Algarviana - 2012 dates
For single riders and couples we have chosen two weeks to form a group. This guided mountain bike adventure covers the same itinerary as the group weeks. All accommodations have a choice of both twin ánd double rooms, so both individual riders and couples are very welcome.
In case you have any special requests, please drop us an email, and we´ll come back to you quickly. We do offer discounts for early bookers, large groups and for riding the Via Algarviana without our guide.
