Rent a large stable canoe which has space for 2 adults, one child under 10 years and some luggage. Immerse yourself in a canoe trip along the peaceful and warm water of the Ria de Alvor. Watch how traditional fisherman collect shells, swim in the summertime and take pictures of the flamingoes in the wintertime. Re-discover the diversity of the Portuguese nature while moving through this untouched and silent nature reservoir.

In the summer months from June till September we rent out canoes, daily available from 10h00 – 16h00. We do expect you are to able to handle a canoe and have some self-rescue techniques, as there will be no guide on the water going with you. Especially in the morning hours the Ria de Alvor is normally calm with little wind and waves.

Please bring your passport or ID. We recommend you give us a quick call to avoid disappointment.

UPDATE: the canoeing activity in Alvor will NOT be available next year 2019.
