The Lagos Urban Walk
On this guided city walk you discover the historical old town of Lagos. Your guide loves Lagos and is originally from Australia. However, his outstanding knowledge about history and culture is impressive. His passion for history thrives well in this history-filled maritime town by the Atlantic Ocean. Besides that, he knows and has tested, the local pubs and cafés well and he´s happy to share that all with you. His humour can´t be missed during this 2-hour walk.
Lagos Urban Walk – Itinerary
At 11h00 we meet in the centre of Lagos. The walking guide stops and shares fun facts about the many statues from Portuguese seafaring heroes. History is visible everywhere on the numerous wall paintings and decorations. Bring your photo camera! The guide shows you not only the well-known bars but also shares the hidden gems for eating and drinking. The walk ends near the coast with a magnificent view of the Bay of Lagos near the 16th-century fortress at the harbour mouth.
City walk + Ocean Kayaking in Lagos
The best way to spend your day in Lagos is to book these most popular activities. After the Lagos Urban Walk go kayaking on our cave trip in the afternoon. The Lagos Urban Walk ends at 13:00 in the centre of Lagos. You can walk then in 15 minutes to the beach of Cais do Solaria jump in the kayak on. Or walk to the Marina to jump on the boat that transfers you out onto the ocean first. Make sure you allow enough time to grab some lunch between the 2 activities.
